Tianjin Pharma DRTModern TCM Industrial Park

The Modern TCM Industrial Park of Tianjin Pharma DRT is located at Avenue 10 of Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area, covering an area of 240,000 ㎡. China's time-honored brand enterprises (e.g., Da Ren Tang and Long Shun Rong) are located in the industrial park. Designed by designers from Germany, the park has received significant attention and support from leaders at all levels since its completion. Multiple state leaders and dignitaries from various sectors have visited the park and provided guidance.

Since being designated as a National Popular Science Education Base in 2010, it has subsequently received several prestigious titles, including Tianjin Patriotism Education Base, Tianjin Publicity and Education Base on Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture, Tianjin Industrial Tourism Base, 2020 My Favorite Internet-famous Site in Binhai New Area and 2021 City-Level Advanced Unit of Holistic Tourism Demonstration Area. Additionally, the chief commentator of the base has been honored with the title of Popular Science Ambassador of Binhai New Area for the first time.

The base offers long-term free publicity and education on TCM culture for the public and actively engages in school-enterprise joint activities.
It has hosted theme activities, such as "Green TCM, Loyal Heart to the Party", "TCM Exploration in Summer" and "A Pharmacist's Odyssey Journey", successively on National Science Popularization Day, Science & Technology Week, Chinese Traditional Solar Terms and Theme Days, so as to help the public understand TCM knowledge and its modernization process, and attract young people to understand TCM culture and appreciate the intangible cultural heritage and national wisdom passed down for thousands of years. Additionally, the base disseminates health medicine knowledge to visitors and shares the achievements in the inheritance and development of TCM. Various offline activities have attracted more than 100,000 guests worldwide, promoting the in-depth development of holistic science popularization with actions.

In the park, there are Tianjin Medical Exhibition Hall and Natural Culture Exhibition Hall as well as visiting areas on three major factories, i.e., Darentang Pharmaceutical Factory (a century-old brand), Longshunrong Pharmaceutical Factory (representative of the pharmaceutical industry) and Zhongxin Pharmaceutical Factory (with modern TCM extraction technology), where you can explore more than 9,000 specimens of plant, animal, mineral drug and waxleaf, learn about the modernization and internationalization processes of TCM industry in Tianjin, appreciate the rich long history of China's time-honored brand enterprises, learn the accurate selection methods of Chinese patent medicines, witness time-honored unique skills and explore the achievements of modern TCM preparations.

Traffic information

Bus:Take Bus No. 651, 520 or 835, get off at Tianjin Pharmaceutical Group, and walk 500 meters to the destination.

Subway:Take CRT Line 9 to Huanghai Road Station, and then drive for 3.6 km to the destination Take CRT Line 9 to Tanggu Station, transfer to Bus 880 and get off at the fire brigade.
